Collaborate was funded by Communities and Local Government, and was a collaboration between HACT, Sitra and the National Housing Federation. Collaborate 1 focused on different collaborative approaches to tendering. The aim of Collaborate 2 was to look at ways small and medium-sized voluntary and community organisations can increase their resilience and get better value from their limited budgets by sharing resources.
About this site
This site is based on the learning from HACT's Collaborate 2 resource sharing project. This was a year-long initiative, working with four clusters of small, community-based housing support providers to develop a range of approaches to sharing resources. Its overall aim was to use resource sharing as a way for cluster members to build their collective capacity and influence.
